Text description provided by the architects. A paved path leads up to the broad, white entry door, which provides a strong contrast to the otherwise completely black façade. A large window over the entry door reveals that the milieu on the other side of the door will be light and airy, and that is precisely what the hall is. The unique layout is truly striking when one looks back over the entrance area from the hall. The ceiling height - a massive 4.80 m - creates fantastic space and leads the eye all the way through the living room and out to the exciting cliff-top areas that so naturally surround the generous wooden terrace. The large window and sliding door sections erase the boundary between the living room and the terrace and the spaces almost feel like they flow together. The design of the sitting room on the upper floor, from whose glass railing one can stand and look out over the entry floor, helps create the impression of a very open and appealing layout, despite the clear room-based division into a kitchen, living room, terrace and sitting room.
The project was carried out by Arket Arkitekter, which has been part of the Tengbom group since 2011.
